Day by day in Europe we see tens of thousands of marriages, divorces, births and burials. In a year millions of people change their addresses, thousands of companies alter their names and open or close stores and service centers. Streets and squares get new names and postal codes change as municipal boundaries shift. These few examples give an idea of what we invest to keep our databases up to date. The German household database e.g. is updated more than 300 million times per year.
